Yo! i know its 2024 XD but i cant get him even with this cheese. Im playing on vos and no infinite ammo . I ubgraded all i could i buyed every ammo and pipes , still cant kill him. I even minimalize the cost by using the knife for the first half. WTF im doing wrong

Remember, you can always hold the stick in the direction needed while it's paused, then unpause with it held. That way, there's no chance of it reading too late or accidentally flicking in the wrong direction.

Honestly pausing it does help but I get confused on what to actually dodge which messes up the fight 😂

when i use pause, cloud always block his hits and i lose anyway (every of my commands is correct)

My problem is Cloud blocks more than he dodges and it just messes the fight up. It seems like a block resets the amount of dodges needed and I never get to land a hit because I get frustrated and fuck up, lol.

for anyone watching in 2023, this was patched and the supporting column at the corner was removed :-( edit: TOOK ME TWO YEARS BUT I FINALLY GOT HIM. a “start from duke’s emporium option was added” after my death, i was able to upgrade the shotgun and get some more med packs lol

I do not know how 8 year old me was able to do this in crystal and the remakes when they came out

I got to say this boss was very unbalanced the difficulty was nowhere near this in any other part of the game I fucking hate this boss fight hate how it was designed and hate how bullet spongey he is it's so bad it almost got me to rage quit and I never do that... It's such a great game with a giant flawed boss to drag the whole thing down to be honest.
